Dear Friends and Clients:
It’s official, we are now Prosperity Investment Management! Rob is President, CFO and Heidi Elick is Vice President. This is an exciting new chapter for us. You will soon be seeing our new Logo on all of our advertising.
You, your family and friends are invited to our Pie and Ice Cream Social on Friday, October 13th from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. We are also having a Ribbon Cutting with the Paradise Chamber of Commerce Thursday, October 12th from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm. Please feel free to attend one or both events.
Julie and Rob are now empty nesters. Madison their youngest daughter graduated from Butte College and has transferred to Cal State Fullerton as a junior with an accounting and finance major. She is going to school full-time plus working as a waitress at the Rainforest Café in Downtown Disney and a banquet server at Disneyland. She worked and saved for many years and paid cash for her 2018 Subaru.
They are especially grateful when the whole family is together.
We invited PASH (Paradise Animal Shelter Helpers) to our Cinco de Mayo social and were impressed to see what they do.  They gratefully accepted donations to their animal shelter. Rob and Julie’s dogs, Boo-Boo and Yogi were not invited to the social but received dog treats later to celebrate.
Rob & Julie’s son RJ, with his wife and their two children, live in Chico. Rob and Julie love to spend time with them. RJ is a CPA with Tittle & Company. His office is about a mile from Rob and Julie’s ranch
Rob and Julie's oldest daughter Sarah is a health aid for Chico Unified School District and is in the nursing program at Butte College.

Our Broker Dealer, Securities America, Inc. provides conferences that are very informative, and helpful. They learn about upcoming changes in our industry, new investment opportunities and are able share with other professionals throughout the country. Rob attended investment conferences in Tucson, San Diego and will be attending another in Salt Lake City in November.
Heidi and her husband Truman joined forces with Rob once again to lead the Paradise Rotary and Friends team to support the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.
Heidi and a friend attended Rotary’s “On the Runway” event August 26th, 2017.
Heidi has successfully completed her Behavioral Financial Advice certification and designation to become a Behavioral Financial Advisor, BFA™. Behavioral Finance integrates traditional finance practices with psychology and neuroscience to improve emotional competency and decision-making behavior.
Three of their dogs – Stanley, George and Ralph are cute as can be.
Julie and Heidi enjoyed the beach on Coronado Island after the Securities America conference in San Diego last June.
Heidi and Truman love animals. It is no wonder that their home is called THE Ranch. (Truman & Heidi Elick = THE). Their animals continue to be a source of entertainment.
They adopted a wild turkey that is now living with their chickens and likes to follow Heidi everywhere.
They also have three horses, Annie, Ike and Honey.
Kathy always enjoys her time with her granddaughter, Mia. Now, 4 years old, Mia is getting good at selfies with Grandma’s phone.
Kathy has been anxiously awaiting Mia’s little brother who was due early October, however he decided to come early and meet everyone, including his proud grandma. Meet Weston. He is healthy and home.
Kathy and her husband enjoyed their “toys” on the Oregon sand dunes last August. This year, no tent, they found Kelly’s RV Rentals who delivered a trailer to a camp site for easy riding directly from their camp.
As you see, Kathy is about fun and safety. Pink goggles and all. It was a beautiful trip.
Melodie has also had a busy summer. She and her husband spent a week in Brookings Oregon with friends. While she visited sights in the area, those who wished fished and crabbed in the ocean.
They also spent three days with their daughter and son-in-law’s two children, visiting the Carson Valley Train Museum. Here is Jake, Jonathan and Grandpa in a restored train car.
Here’s great Grandpa. He carved the Rocking Horse originally for his granddaughter, their first. All of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren since have enjoyed the horse.
Jake (7) likes to be silly.
Jonathan (1) likes everything!
Their son and Daughter-In-Law’s son Vyktor (2) discovered the rocking horse, under Grandpa’s watchful eye.
